Job Description
We are currently recruiting Mental Health Nurses at senior levels.Taking responsibility for assessing the care needs of patients and the planning and development, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans.Taking an active role in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for all who use and work in the hospital.Main Duties and responsibilities.• Acting as a Primary Nurse to allocated patient(s) - planning, developing, implementing and evaluating patient programmes of care, focusing particularly on risk assessment and risk management.• Ensuring the maintenance of high standards in all ward procedures and treatments including the storage, custody and safe administration of medicines.• Assisting the Team Leader in ensuring that all clinical documentation/procedures comply with all applicable legislative and statutory requirements.• Attending and taking part in ward rounds and other multi-disciplinary meetings.• Ensuring the correct procedures are followed for the admission and discharge of patients.• Ensuring that the requirements of the care programme approach are met.• Acting in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times
